Since the epidemic outbreak, to help enterprises smoothly switch to other production, the staff of Jilin Provincial Medical Products Administration have worked overtime to carry out a series of work such as material review, registration system verification and production license change, and have been to enterprises for on-site technical guidance and professional services. The time required for product registration and approval procedure has significantly reduced after the efforts of multiple active services. Switching to other production not only enables enterprises to do their part in epidemic prevention and control, but also brings business returns. With the support and assistance of the Provincial Medical Products Administration and the Provincial Commerce Department, enterprises strictly control the product quality to meet the relevant international standards and make themselves on the whitelist of trusted export enterprises to open the international market.
The Provincial Medical Products Administration has combined registration and on-site inspection of production license together, launched urgent inspection and testing service 24 hours a day, and supported the medical device manufacturing enterprises in an all-out effort to switch to other products and resume production. Six groups of officers have been organized to guide the registration, declaration and production management of enterprises on the spot, so as to ensure the enterprises can reach the design capacity as soon as possible and meet the supply of anti-epidemic materials. In the meantime, the Provincial Medical Products Administration has strengthened the supervision of all links, increased the intensity of daily inspection, special campaign and random inspection, and regularly issued warning letters to ensure product quality and safety.
Several departments of Changchun New Area have set up on-site offices in the enterprises to solve such problems as the expansion of cleaning shop, the construction and approval of fire escape, the change and addition of business license, and the permits related safety production.
Since the outbreak of COVID-19, with the help of the government and functional departments, a total of 52 enterprises such as Aodong Pharmaceutical Group, SHENGWEIYATE and Youpin have successfully changed the line of production with 113 products, playing a significant role at this critical moment of epidemic prevention and control.
