There was no increase in imported cases of conronavirus reported in Jilin province on June 8. As of the end of June 8, 19 imported cases of coronavirus have been reported in the province with 19 recoveries (2 in Yanbian Autonomous Prefecture, 4 in Changchun, 12 in Jilin city and 1 in Meihekou). 307 close contacts of the imported cases have been released from medical observation.
As of 24:00 on June 8, there was no increase in coronavirus cases of local infection reported in Jilin province. As of 24:00 on June 8, a total of 136 local confirmed cases have been reported in the province with 134 recoveries and 2 deaths. 13 out of 1627 close contacts of the confirmed cases are currently under quarantine for medical observation in designated places while the other 1614 were released from medical observation.
On June 8, there was no increase in asymptomatic cases reported in Jilin province. As of 24:00 on June 8, there have been 10 cases of asymptomatic infection reported in the province (6 of them are imported cases). Among these cases, 4 became confirmed cases while the other 6 were released from medical observation.
