As of the end of May 31, 19 imported cases of coronavirus have been reported in the province with 19 recoveries (2 in Yanbian Autonomous Prefecture, 4 in Changchun, 12 in Jilin city and 1 in Meihekou). 307 close contacts of the imported cases have been released from medical observation.
As of 24:00 on May 31, there was no increase in coronavirus cases of local infection reported in Jilin province. As of 24:00 on May 31, a total of 136 local confirmed cases have been reported in the province with 125 recoveries, 9 hospitalizations (in Jilin city) and 2 deaths. There are now 2 cases in serious ill condition (in Jilin city). 789 out of 1627 close contacts of the confirmed cases are currently under quarantine for medical observation in designated places while the other 838 were released from medical observation.
