There was no increase in imported cases of conronavirus reported in Jilin province on May 22. As of the end of May 22, 19 imported cases of coronavirus have been reported in the province with 19 recoveries (2 in Yanbian Autonomous Prefecture, 4 in Changchun, 12 in Jilin city and 1 in Meihekou). 307 close contacts of the imported cases have been released from medical observation.
As of 24:00 on May 22, there was no increase in coronavirus cases of local infection reported in Jilin province. One increase of suspected coonavirus cases was reported in Jilin city of Jilin province. There was 1 case recovered and discharged from hospital (in Jilin city). As of 24:00 on May 22, a total of 135 local confirmed cases have been reported in the province with 109 recoveries, 24 hospitalizations (in Jilin city) and 2 deaths. There are now 4 cases in serious ill condition (in Jilin city). One increase of the cases in serious ill condition was in mild condition. Now 1408 close contacts of the confirmed cases are under quarantine for medical observation in designated places.
On May 22, there was no increase in asymptomatic cases reported in Jilin province. As of 24:00 on May 22, there have been 10 cases of asymptomatic infection reported in the province (6 of them are imported cases). Among these cases, 4 became confirmed cases, 1 is under quarantine and the other 5 was released from medical observation.
