The Foreign Affairs Office of Jilin Province quickly responds to the epidemic by dispatching staff from foreign affairs sections of the whole province to join the working groups for passenger ships in Shenyang, Dalian, Qingdao, Weihai, Harbin and other places, and sending interpreters to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and other places to assist international passengers in retuning (coming) to Jilin province.
The staff from Jilin provincial foreign affairs sections are working at Beijing Capital International Airport for passenger ships.
Foreign affairs sections of the whole province undertake two key tasks——passenger ships for epidemic prevention & control and the cross-provincial coordination special working group, and meanwhile swiftly join the front line of epidemic prevention and control. As of March 24, as an important force, foreign affairs sections of the whole province have sent 31 professionals such as consuls and interpreters to the front line of anti-epidemic with 2641 passengers safely shipped so far.
