The CPC Jilin Provincial Committee and the Provincial Government print and issue policies and measures to support the healthy development of service industry amid epidemic. Those policies and measures involve the culture and tourism industry focusing on tax and fee reduction with subsidies for the snow and ice scenic spots, and financial support with subsidies for the ski fields, scenic spots and resorts operated in last snow season.
On February 20, the Jilin Provincial Culture and Tourism Department officially announced the policies and measures on supporting the development of cultural tourism enterprises amid epidemic which guide the implementation of the issued public service policies such as inclusive reduction and exemption of tax, deferral payments of social insurances, moderate reduction and exemption of rent, deferral payments of water, electricity and gas bills and relevant financial policies, provide fund subsidies for the ski fields and the snow-ice scenic spots operated in last snow season according to the number of tourists received, provide fixed subsidies for the rural tourism business units operated in last snow season according to the level, temporarily refund 80% of the current amount of legal tourism service quality deposit to all paid travel agencies, provide subsidies for the travel agencies which have a loss due to the cancellation of chartered airplanes of international tourism amid epidemic outbreak, dispense fund subsidies to those travel agencies in advance with approval procedure, reduce and exempt the charge for the use of Dedicated Internet Access for internet cafés amid epidemic and so on.
The Jilin Provincial Culture and Tourism Department and Changchun Central Sub-branch of the People's Bank of China jointly issue a notice on making good use of monetary policy to provide financial support for the cultural tourism enterprises in Jilin province, so as to further implement the relevant financial policies of cultural tourism enterprises and make good use of monetary policy to increase financial support for cultural tourism enterprises in Jilin province. Besides, for the cultural tourism enterprises and project units facing financial difficulties due to the epidemic, the Provincial Culture and Tourism Department is to launch a series of activities like providing financial services to help them precisely cooperate with banking institutions and promote the bank-enterprise cooperation as well.
