Jingyue Lake Scenery

Located in the southeast of Changchun City, 12 kilometers away from the city center, Jingyue Park is a reservoir type tourist area surrounded by mountains and dense vegetation. It is called Jingyue Lake, meaning pure moon, because the lake is in the shape of a crescent moon. Its scenery is unique.

 

Jingyuetan scenic area covers a total area of more than 150 square kilometers, of which, the forest occupies more than 100 square kilometers, with an altitude of 200-385 meters. It is part of Changbai Mountain system, highlighting well arranged low mountains and hills. The park is characterized by composition of lake, forest, mountain and field. The pond covers an area of 4.3 square kilometers, with wide water surface and sandy soil at the bottom, so the water is clear and crystal.

 

Built in 1934. Changchun Jingyuetan Park was recognized as a national key scenic spot by the State Council in 1988, and was rated as a National Forest Park by the Ministry of Forestry in 1989. The Park has passed ISO9002 international quality management system certification and ISO14001 international environmental management system certification. In 2011, it was rated as national class-5A tourist attraction.
