Jilin Province Has Zero Error in Disposing of Consumer Complaints
Learned from the news briefing to commemorate the "3·15" International Consumer Rights Day held on March 8, in 2016, Jilin Province’s 12315 platform system and consumer associations have received and disposed of a total of 126,000 pieces of information, with a disposal rate of 100% and a completion rate of more than 90% and having zero error in disposing of consumer complaints.
In 2016, the provincial industry and commerce bureau has increased law enforcement in the field of circulation, organized forces to carry out spot checks of 4,429 groups (batches) of household appliances, clothing, shoes and hats and other key products and checked and dealt with 435 goods quality cases, effectively protecting the goods quality. Relevant departments have carried out special advertising remediation against drugs, Internet finance and other key areas for seven times and registered and investigated and dealt with 273 fake and illegal advertising cases, regulating the advertising market order. Meanwhile, Jilin Province Consumers Association also promoted and guided operators to implement the main responsibility of consumer rights, organized all localities to arrange talks with 1,822 operators and selected and established 32 first compensation demonstration units, strengthening the source management and control of consumer disputes.
