According to the characteristics of tourism in spring and summer, the tourism sector of our province has selected three suitable routes and recommend to the domestic and foreign tourists:

Route one: the Northeast new express tour

Dalian - Shenyang - Dandong (Changchun) - Tonghua Ji’an - the Yalu River border-style landscape zone - Changbai Mountain (South Slope - West Slope - North Slope) - Yanbian Dunhua - Yanji - Hunchun

This is an 8-day tourist route. This route starts from Dalian, Liaoning or Shenyang, via Dandong, to Tonghua Ji'an City within Jilin Province. You can visit world cultural heritage Ji'an Koguryo Kingdom City, Tomb of King and Tomb of Nobles, and other remains of monuments in Ji'an, and then go to one of the ten Chinese famous mountains - Changbai Mountain by boat along the Sino-North Korean boundary river - Yalu River for travel. After traveling Changbai Mountain, you can head north to Yanbian via Yanbian’s Dunhua City, Yanji City and Hunchun City.

Route two: the tour to Northeast Asian three countries

Hunchun – North Korean Rason - Russian Vladivostok - Hunchun

This is a 4 day tourist route. In Rason, you can visit Rajin Port, go to sea on a pleasure-boat, watch North Korean children's performance, and visit Piper's Island. Since April this year, North Korea has once again opened the self-driving tour to Chinese tourists to North Korea, so you can drive by yourself to North Korean for travel. After visiting North Korean Rason, you can go to Russian Vladivostok by the world's shortest cross-border railway.

Route three: the East landscape and border folklore tour

Changchun - Jilin - Dunhua - Changbai Mountain North Slope - Yanji

This 6-day tourist route brings together the essence of spring and summer traveling in Jilin Province, integrating forest fitness, canyoning and other tourism projects into one. Furthermore, you can experience the Korean folk customs and border style.

Changchun City is a famous "Forest City", Film City and Motor City in China. After the tour to Changchun City, you can walk about 200 kilometers eastward from Jilin City to Dunhua City of Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture to travel Dunhua Liuding Mountain Cultural Tourism Zone, and then head for Changbai Mountain, which is about 180 km away. The trip from Changbai Mountain to Yanji is about 200 km.
