19th Chagan Lake Fishing and Hunting Cultural Tourism Festival kicks off

On the morning of December 28, the 19th Chagan Lake Fishing and Hunting Cultural Tourism Festival kicked off in Nabo Square of Chagan Lake Scenic Area. 
 
This year's tourism festival will last for two months until February 28 next year. As an important event of "Winter Olympics in Beijing, Experience in Jilin", the festival focuses on highlighting the Winter Olympic spirit and spreading ice-snow culture and plans 10 theme activities such as ice-snow marathon, ice-snow auto rally, ice skiing, ice dragon boat race and snow football game to stimulate people's enthusiasm for visiting and to make good use of ice-snow resources. During the festival, the Chagan Lake Chinese New Year Fair, the Ice-Snow Chagan Lake·Songyuan Intangible Cultural Heritage Fair and sightseeing trips for fish watching, snow enjoying and folk custom experiencing will be launched in succession, as well as a series of activities featuring fishing and hunting culture, national culture, grassland culture and farming culture.
