The assembly workshop of FAW Weishan factory mainly produces Hongqi, Besturn and other brand models with an output capacity of 460,000 vehicles. Jing Junhai inspected the production situation on the spot and gave full recognition to the workshop logistics on digital management and intelligent operation. He urged efforts to accelerate the deep integration of new technology and modern new-type vehicle production and to promote the upgrade of industrial base and the modernization of industrial chain. At the Hongqi modeling design center of FAW R&D Institute, Jing stressed the high integration of modern new-type vehicle technologies and the necessity of focusing on key core technologies and components, innovative ideas and optimized processes, so as to achieve self-reliance and self-strengthening in science and technology and to improve core competitiveness and brand influence. During the inspection, Jing presided over a symposium. Xu Liuping, chairman of FAW Group and Qiu Xiandong, general manager of FAW Group, introduced relevant information respectively.

 

Han Jun pointed out that it is necessary to enhance cooperation between provincial enterprises to jointly build a world-class advanced automobile industry cluster. He called for efforts to upgrade the whole industrial chain and to support FAW to gain an upper hand in the global auto industry development, raise its ability of independent design, research and development and enhance its core competitiveness. He emphasized that sufficient development space should be reserved in the planning and unconventional measures should be taken in such fields of project land, financial support, talent introduction and industrial eco-cultivation to strengthen service guarantee and to solve development problems, boosting the high-quality development of FAW with the efforts of the whole province.
