Construction scenes and a rendering of FAW Jiefang J7 intelligent plant 

 

Located in the FAW plant area of Changchun Automobile Economic and Technological Development Zone, FAW Jiefang J7 intelligent plant with a covering area of 46,000 square meters started construction on May 25, which is expected to be officially completed in 19 months and put into operation in December 2021. 

 

FAW Jiefang J7 intelligent plant is a main position for FAW Jiefang to expand its export business, as well as a key project to promote the implementation of various measures for Jiefang commercial vehicles, which will fully integrate the automobile industry with the technological achievements of new infrastructures such as 5G, industrial internet, big data and cloud computing. The intelligent plant adopts the world-class manufacturing equipment, integrates the advanced technology and lean manufacturing concept of Jiefang and fully combines the mainstream information technology to achieve intelligent visual guidance and production scheduling.
