In the afternoon of May 22, the Jilin delegation attending the third session of the 13th National People's Congress held a plenary meeting to deliberate on the Government Work Report. Vice-Premier Sun Chunlan, also member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, participated in the deliberation and delivered a speech as a deputy of the Jilin delegation. Bayanqolu, head of the Jilin delegation and Party chief of Jilin province, presided over the meeting and delivered a speech. Jing Junhai, deputy head of the delegation and governor of the province, participated in the deliberation and delivered a speech. Sun Chunlan voiced her complete support for the Government Work Report delivered by Premier Li Keqiang while taking part in the deliberation. She said that since last year, in the face of the profound changes at home and abroad, we have implemented the plans made by the government work report, coordinated epidemic control with economic and social development, and made solid steps to ensure stability on the six fronts and security in the six areas, so as to successfully complete the 13th Five-Year Plan and build a moderately prosperous society in all respects. She also called for putting people's life and health first, carrying out extensive patriotic health campaigns, improving the national public health system and raising the ability to deal with major public health emergencies.
Bayanqolu voiced his complete support for the Government Work Report delivered by Premier Li Keqiang. He said that we should implement the epidemic prevention and control measures down to every detail, improve the weak areas, consolidate the responsibility, strictly prevent the spread of the epidemic while ensuring stability on the six fronts and security in the six areas, promoting the comprehensively economic and social development, and accomplishing the targets and tasks of building a moderately prosperous society in all respects as well as winning the battle against poverty.
Jing Junhai said that the Government Work Report delivered by Premier Li Keqiang is a "self-confidence" report to comprehensively promote high-quality development, a "people's livelihood" report to meet people's needs and aspirations, an "innovation" report with full of reform thinking, and an "opening" report to expand the space for development. Jing voiced his complete support for the Government Work Report. He also said that for the next steps, we should refine and implement the report of government work in Jilin, make an effort in epidemic prevention and control on a regular basis, take solid steps to ensure stability on the six fronts and security in the six areas and expedite the promotion of the comprehensive revitalization of Jilin province.
