On March 12, the leading group for the strategy implementation of Chang-Ji-Tu Development and Opening-up Pilot Area held the seventh session in Changchun. The session summarized the work of the Chang-Ji-Tu strategy implementation in the past ten years, studied and deployed the main tasks of this year. Bayanqolu, secretary of the CPC Jilin provincial committee and head of the leading group, presided over the session and delivered a speech. Jing Junhai, governor of Jilin province and head of the leading group, attended the session. The plenary session heard the reports on application work of China-ROK (Changchun) International Cooperation Demonstration Zone and Hunchun Marine Economy Development Demonstration Zone.

Bayanqolu recalled that in the past decade, the construction of policy support system of Chang-Ji-Tu strategy has been sounder, the quality of economic development has been significantly improved, the establishment of open platforms has been accelerated, the level of interconnection has been significantly enhanced and the environment of system and mechanism has been continuously optimized. Jilin province actively promotes the construction of Hunchun Marine Economy Demonstration City, the integrated cooperative development between Changchun and Gongzhuling and the high-quality development of pilot demonstration areas in Meihekou, and actively plans a number of new high-level platforms carrying the future open development such as China-ROK (Changchun) International Cooperation Demonstration Zone and National Ice-Snow Economy High-Quality Development Demonstration Zone.
