On February 10, the Changchun factory of FAW Jiefang Automobile Co., Ltd. officially resumed work. In the assembly workshop, the workers wear masks and skillfully assemble the first batch of Jiefang heavy trucks this year in strict disinfection positions. The production is in good order.
In recent days, while promoting epidemic prevention and control, Changchun Automobile Economic and Technological Development Zone has taken effective measures to steadily push enterprises to resume work. At present, more than 75.6% of industrial enterprises in the whole zone resume work.
While serving FAW well, Changchun Automobile Economic and Technological Development Zone actively expands its service scope. As of February 6, a logistics enterprise investigation team has completed the investigation of 282 logistics vehicles serving FAW Group and once passed by (stopped in) Hubei Province, especially Wuhan city before. The disinfectant and infrared work of vehicles and personnel isolation are about to be completed. An auto parts enterprise investigation team also docks and investigates more than 300 auto parts enterprises in the zone.
During the epidemic outbreak period, in response to the work resumption needs of FAW Group, Changchun Automobile Economic and Technological Development Zone and FAW Group formulate emergency plans to help FAW Group find new partners and local suppliers in accordance with the epidemic prevention and control needs, so as to ensure that FAW Group can quickly restore normal production and operation after work resumption.
On February 10, some enterprises and institutions in the zone successively resume work to minimize the impact of the epidemic outbreak on the economy.
