On behalf of Jilin provincial Party committee and Jilin provincial government, Jing Junhai welcomes Helle and her entourage. He said that for a long time, Jilin and Denmark have carried out practical cooperation in many fields and achieved fruitful results. This year is the 70th anniversary of the establishment of China-Denmark diplomatic relations. The two sides will launch a series of exchange activities which provide a rare opportunity for Jilin and Denmark to deepen cooperation. At present, Jilin is promoting the “One Pillar, Six Double” industrial spatial layout, cultivating new energy, new materials and other strategic emerging industries, accelerating the traditional drivers being replaced by new ones, and exploring new paths for sustainable development. Denmark has obvious advantages in new energy fields such as wind power, and the cooperation between the two sides is a strong combination. Hopefully, our two sides will take this signing as an opportunity to deepen cooperation in new energy, biomedicine and other aspects, attract more Danish enterprises to settle in Jilin, increase investment in capital and technology, and work together to promote cooperation projects such as wind power.

Helle said that Denmark and Jilin have huge potential and broad space for cooperation, and Denmark will certainly support more Danish enterprises to invest and expand business in Jilin, enhance mutual exchange and trust, and contribute to the friendship between Denmark and China.
