Jilin Intellectual Property Protection Center approved for TISC

Recently, the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) approved the official operation of the WIPO Technology and Innovation Support Center (TISC) established by the Jilin Intellectual Property Protection Center. 
TISC is an important part of China's intellectual property information public service system and the global TISC network, as well as a program under the development agenda of WIPO. Jointly promoted by WIPO and CNIPA, TISC aims to help intellectual property and innovative users in developing countries improve their technical information retrieval ability, grasp industry trends and new technology information and enhance their innovation ability. To data, the Provincial Intellectual Property Protection Center, the provincial library and Jilin University have been approved for the operation of TISC. 
The Jilin Intellectual Property Protection Center will further focus on its central operation, give full play to the advantages of intellectual property information and human resources, strengthen cooperation with two other TISCs in the province, and actively carry out the dissemination and utilization of intellectual property information. The center will also build a patent database with advantageous of local industries to meet the needs of users, launch training sessions on basic knowledge of intellectual property, patent mining and layout, patent retrieval skills, patent writing, patent analysis and utilization, enterprise intellectual property management and operation for all kinds of social personnel, provide search services including novelty, existing technology and patent infringement, and carry out patent trend analysis, patent risk assessment report and patent infringement analysis report services, so as to provide professional, efficient and convenient intellectual property information support for the full implementation of the "one pillar, six doubles" high-quality development strategy of the province.
