On May 25, the Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry (CIAC) under the Chinese Academy of Sciences opened to the public. People can visit the science and technology exhibition hall and watch science videos in the lecture hall of the Education Building.
This activity is the second of the open day activities of research institutes during this year's Science and Technology Week in the province. On May 22, the Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics and Physics (CIOMP) under the Chinese Academy of Sciences opened to the public. On the open day, CIOMP presented many scientific research achievements on the spot, and head of Tianwen-1 Mars mission made popular science reports including "Revealing the Phased Array Sensor of Tianwen-1" and "The Future Has Come, the Age of Intelligence". Meanwhile, the State Key Laboratory of Applied Optics and the State Key Laboratory of Luminescence and Applications also opened to the public.
