On the morning of May 19, the China Tourism Day event jointly organized by the Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and the Changchun Municipal Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism Bureau was officially launched.
The event set its main venue in Changchun World Sculpture Park. Heads of the Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, the Changchun municipal government, the Changchun Municipal Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism Bureau and the Changchun Xinglong Comprehensive Bonded Zone, as well as representatives of local cultural and tourism enterprises, citizens and tourists attended the launch ceremony of the event.
At the event, the Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism released 66 new summer and autumn tourism products in seven categories, covering 58 group tour routes and 8 self-driving tour routes. The department aimed to meet the diversified travel needs of tourists, improve the supply quality of the province's tourism products, keep developing tourism products of all kinds, actively create new "Ji" products of culture and tourism and expand the culture and tourism product library.
In addition, activities such as the issuance of 10-million-yuan cultural and tourism consumption vouchers in Changchun were launched at the same time. Display boards for civilized and safe tourism, tourist information area and camping tents for citizens and tourists were set up at the site.
