On April 25, 750 breeding pigs from Denmark arrived at Changchun Longjia International Air Port. This is the first time this year that the province introduced breeding pigs from overseas, which is of great significance for its pig industry to ensure supply and stable price. A total of 1,500 breeding pigs are imported into the province this time, the second batch will be delivered to Changchun on the 26th.
To do a good job in the customs supervision and ensure the safe and efficient import of breeding pigs, Changchun customs has stepped in and set up a special task force in advance and has formulated a scientific supervision plan and strictly implemented the whole-chain supervision of quarantine farm preparation, sanitary treatment supervision, on-site inspection and quarantine to ensure that there are no loopholes in the whole process of prevention and control and to avoid the superimposed risks of COVID-19 and ASF. Meanwhile, the Customs has actively contacted enterprises, carried out "one-to-one" targeted assistance, provided technical advice on epidemic prevention and policy guidance for the introduction plan and practical difficulties of enterprises, processed the procedures of tax reduction certificate and appointment declaration for enterprises in advance and effectively implemented preferential tax policies for breeding livestock.
The direct output value of the imported pigs is about 300 million yuan, and the performance improvement of the breed can radiate the whole province, with an annual improvement value of more than 1 billion yuan.
