On April 1, Changchun Customs officially launched the special enforcement action (Code: "Blue Net 2021" campaign) on intellectual property protection in delivery channels. This year, the "Blue Net 2021" campaign will strengthen the crackdown on the "breaking up the whole into parts" and "ants moving" types of import and export infringement and will focus on monitoring food, drugs, cigarettes, watches, clothing, shoes, hats, bags, toys, consumer electronics, personal care products and other high-risk infringing goods exported to developed countries and regions such as North America, Europe and Japan and shipped through Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.
Head of Changchun Customs said that the goal of the "Blue Net 2021" campaign is to effectively curb the high incidence of infringement in delivery channels with law enforcement actions. The number of infringing goods from China seized by overseas customs in delivery channels has decreased significantly. Cross-border e-commerce enterprises have improved their awareness of intellectual property protection. The IPR protection mechanism of customs has become more coordinated and smoother, the enforcement tools have become more abundant and effective, and the deterrent force of law enforcement has further enhanced.
