On November 18, Baicheng Customs House was officially founded. In accordance with the law, the Customs House undertakes all kinds of customs functions within the jurisdiction of Baicheng, such as supervision, tax collection, anti-smuggling, statistics, as well as maintenance of national biosecurity, import and export food safety and product quality safety.
The founding of Baicheng Customs House completely ends the history of local import and export trading enterprises going through procedures for customs clearance far away from their locations, effectively reduces the time and economic cost of import and export trade of enterprises, smooths a green channel for Baicheng to be in line with international standards, fully supports the Cusotms House to integrate into the construction of the eco-friendly economic zone in western Jilin province and opens a new page in the open economy of Baicheng.
