On September 5, the 15th Changchun Film Festival officially kicked off. With the theme of "new era, new cradle and new strength", this year's film festival launched a series of activities such as Golden Deer awards ceremony, film forum and film panorama, offering the general public and film lovers an amazing feast. On the same day, Jing Junhai, deputy secretary of the CPC Jilin Provincial Committee and governor of the province, met with Yan Xiaoming, deputy director of China Media Group and other important guests attending the film festival in Changchun. 

 

On behalf of the provincial Party committee, the provincial government and Bayanqolu, Party chief of Jilin province, Jing Junhai extended a warm welcome to all the guests. He said that Changchun Film Studio is the cradle of Chinese films and Changchun Film Festival is an authoritative platform for Chinese film awards, shows and exchanges. He also said that hopefully, all of you will deepen cooperation with Jilin, vigorously promote Jilin, produce excellent film and television works to show Jilin's advancing attitude, beautiful scenery and folk customs and jointly revitalize the film industry and build Changchun international movie metropolis, so as to boost Jilin's all-round revitalization in the new era.
