COMAC is the core and leading company in China's large aircraft industry. Jing Junhai went into the production workshop of the COMAC Pudong Base, listened to the introduction of company’s development, learned about the aircraft production and assembly process on the spot, and discussed the promotion of cooperation in related fields. During the meeting with He Dongfeng, chairman of COMAC, Jing Junhai noted that Jilin has a good foundation and strong strength in the fields of high-end equipment manufacturing, general aviation industry, aircraft maintenance, new materials as well as scientific and technological R&D, and cooperation between the two sides enjoys broad space and great promise. Jing said that hopefully, the two sides will establish a regular exchange mechanism, make good use of platform carriers like the national comprehensive demonstration zone of general aviation industry in Jilin city, cooperate with Jilin city to build a large aircraft delivery center, and combine the advantages of both sides to carry out coordinated key-task tackling for more achievements. He Dongfeng said that cooperation with Jilin province in aviation equipment R&D, manufacturing, maintenance and other fields will be strengthened, and joint construction projects will be supported to create favorable conditions for Jilin businesses to integrate into the large aircraft industry ecosystem.   

 

The delegation also held talks with the heads of Alibaba Group, Ant Financial, Faurecia (China) Holding Co Ltd, Shanghai Cathay Industrial Biotech and Yuexing Group as well as the Chinese partners of TMS in South Korea, and studied the construction work of such projects as China-France Intelligent Industrial Park, Puhui Finance and optical thin-film development to promote the early operation of cooperative projects.
