According to the national classification standard for novel coronavirus pneumonia, at present, Shulan city is classified as a high-risk region, and Fengman district in Jilin city is classified as a middle-risk region. Since Shulan city reported a locally confirmed COVID-19 case on May 7, the provincial Party committee and the provincial government have attached great importance to it. Bayanqolu, Party chief of Jilin province and Jing Junhai, governor of the province, have repeatedly made instructions, personally dispatched, directed and deployed the epidemic prevention and control work in Jilin city, organized and held a meeting of the Standing Committee of the CPC Jilin Provincial Committee and the leading group for epidemic prevention and control to listen to the situation of the epidemic prevention and control work of Jilin city. An Lijia, vice-governor of the province, directs the outbreak response on the spot in Shulan city. The province has sent a working team to Shulan at the earliest possible time to supervise and guide the local epidemic prevention and control work.  

          

Jilin city has taken corresponding testing and quarantine measures for all the screened personnel. Since May 7, 2,389 people have been given nucleic acid tests. Up to now, 2,505 people who had contact with confirmed cases have been screened.
