Recently, head of the Jilin Provincial Commerce Department interprets the policies and measures issued by Jilin province on supporting the healthy development of service industry amid epidemic.

Adopt differentiated and precise approaches based on local health risks to support the businesses in wholesale, retail, accommodation, catering, residential service and other service sectors to resume operation as soon as possible. Give support to the businesses focusing on the guidance of epidemic prevention and control, guarantee for protective materials and return of employees such as key protective materials for those businesses which have guaranteed supplies in the early stage of anti-epidemic and have resumed work and production.

Guide the service businesses to overcome the difficulties and support each other. There are more than 10 provincial associations such as the Jilin Provincial Chamber of Commerce, Restaurants Cuisine Association and Hairdressing & Beauty Association calling for reduction, exemption and deferral rent payments with a "three batches" approach which exempts rent to a batch of merchants according to the national policies, guides leading businesses to reduce rent to a batch of merchants and mobilizes individual business owners to reduce and defer rent payments to a batch of merchants, in order to minimize operating costs and pressure. At present, Jilin Company of Wanda Group, Changchun Yuanfang Group and other enterprises take the lead in reducing, exempting and deferring rent payments of nearly 100 million yuan for merchants.

Not only do finance and taxation departments intensively roll out inclusive policies for trading businesses, but also commerce department issues a package of exclusive policies for supporting the trading businesses in retail, catering, automobile sales, import and export sectors. Meanwhile, businesses are encouraged to develop online vocational trainings and new service models with support of technical services and information consultant. In a word, multiple measures should be adopted to support trading businesses to quickly overcome difficulties and restore market order & consumer confidence in a timely manner, to provide a strong guarantee for the stable growth of consumption in Jilin province.
