From 00:00 to 24:00 on March 2, there’s no new confirmed case reported in the province. 5 cases were cured and discharged from hospital including 3 in Siping, 1 in Changchun and 1 in Gongzhuling.

As of 24:00 on March 2, a total of 93 confirmed cases have been reported in the province. 83 cases have been cured and discharged from hospital (40 in Changchun, 14 in Siping, 7 in Liaoyuan, 6 in Gongzhuling, 5 in Jilin, 5 in Yanbian Autonomous Prefecture, 3 in Tonghua, 2 in Songyuan, and 1 in Meihekou). There were 1 death in Siping.

9 confirmed cases have been isolated and treated in hospital, of that 5 in Changchun, 3 in Tonghua and 1 in Baicheng.

Among the confirmed cases treated in hospital, 6 were ordinary cases and 3 were critically ill cases (1 in Changchun, 1 in Baicheng, and 1 in Tonghua). Of the 3994 close contacts of the above confirmed cases, 170 are under isolation or home medical observation, and 3824 have been released from medical observation. And a total of 15 cases were confirmed from these close contacts by nucleic acid detection.

From 00:00 to 24:00 on March 2, 7 out of 9 suspected cases were excluded in the province. There are now 4 suspected cases with 2 newly reported. All have been isolated and treated, and the diagnosis is being further confirmed.
