As of 24:00 on February 17, a total of 89 confirmed cases have been reported in the province, 34 cured and discharged from hospital (19 in Changchun, 3 in Jilin, 2 in Yanbian Autonomous Prefecture, 4 in Siping, 1 in Tonghua, 1 in Liaoyuan, 1 in Songyuan, 2 in Gongzhuling and 1 in Meihekou), 1 death in Siping, and 54 confirmed cases have been isolated and treated in hospital. There were 26 cases in Changchun City, 2 cases in Jilin City, 3 cases in Yanbian Autonomous Prefecture, 9 cases in Siping City, 2 cases in Tonghua City, 1 case in Baicheng City, 6 cases in Liaoyuan City, 1 case in Songyuan City and 4 cases in Gongzhuling City.

Among the confirmed cases treated in hospital, 48 were ordinary cases, 3 were severe cases (2 in Changchun and 1 in Songyuan), and 3 were critically ill cases (1 in Changchun, 1 in Baicheng and 1 in Gongzhuling). Of the 3782 close contacts of the above confirmed cases, 473 are under isolation or home medical observation, and 3309 have been released from medical observation. And a total of 13 cases were confirmed from these close contacts by nucleic acid detection.

From 00:00 to 24:00 on February 17, 16 suspected cases in the province were excluded. Among the 34 suspected cases, 14 were newly reported, all of which have been isolated and treated, and the diagnosis is being further confirmed.
